Bodyfit Pro Thermal Jersey - Men's

We take cycling pretty seriously at Competitive Cyclist. Still, despite our dedication to training and (usually) watchful diet, most of us don't have the engines of pro cyclists. That's why they're pros and we have day jobs. However, the Bodyfit Pro Thermal Jersey, developed with the cooperation and feedback of Sportful's sponsored members of the peloton, means that we can still treat ourselves to the same gear that they use.

The body fit pro construction is the exact same as the jerseys worn for the spring classics and cool mornings by the pros at Bahrain-Merida and Trek-Segafredo. The fabrics are the same, too, so the civilian edition of the Bodyfit Pro Thermal Jersey also has the same function as the pro version. The shoulders and sleeves are made of ThermoDryTex Plus, which combines maximum stretch with fleecy, insulating lining, and the body is ThermoDryTex XP, an insulating fabric that omits Lycra. While the lack of Lycra means it's not as flexible as ThermoDryTex Plus, it grants additional wicking qualities. Since the ThermoDryTex XP is limited to the relatively static torso, the extra stretch won't be missed; however, you'll definitely appreciate the added moisture management.

While it doesn't have enough water and wind resistance for the depths of a white winter, the Bodyfit Pro Thermal Jersey affords enough insulation to keep you warm during the spooky gloom of fall and the cool mornings of spring. The jersey's construction is rounded off with a full-length YKK Vislon zipper, a silicone gripper elastic at the hem, and three rear pockets for storing snacks, gloves and a headband, and extra tubes.
