Ready for the tundra.
Elephants never forget, reindeer never get lost, and caribou never get cold, which inspired Sorel to create the Youth Caribou Kids' Boot. It won't make your rugrats remember to shut the door or come inside by dinnertime, but the waterproof nubuck leather upper, fully taped seams, and ThermoPlus felt inner boot will keep their feet warm and dry when they're terrorizing the sledding hill or trying to build the world's biggest snowman. The soft Sherpa Pile snow cuff collects snow to keep it from falling into the boot, and the AeroTrac outsole sticks to snow like gum to the bottom of a school chair. If you can believe it, the Caribou is rated all the way down to -40 degrees, too, so you don't have to feel bad about turning off the TV and kicking them outside into the snow for the afternoon.

So far these boots have been awesome. My son has lots of grip on the sledding hill and his feet stay very warm and dry. No complaints here
Great Boots, even for adults

I actually bought these for myself, and for reference I wear a Women's 8 in my other Sorel's. The 7's had a little extra room, but that works out perfectly for me. These are super warm and my feet stay nice and dry inside them. The biggest difference I notice between these and the Women's version of the Caribou is that the women's has 4 rows of lace attachments whereas these only have 3. I think that might allow for a little bit better adjustment, but the three hasn't really been a problem. Fair warning, the soles on these are huge. I love it, because they have a ton of traction, but they are clunkers! I wouldn't get them expecting them to be lightweight. Overall, great boots, love that the liner is removable so it can dry if you get snow in them as well.
