The pop don't stop.

Smith decided not to mess with their winning formula when it came to the I/OS Chromapop Goggles with Bonus Lens, but it did refine its already killer goggles with a little extra polish. This year, the I/OS Goggles are back with the same, smaller, sleek rimless style, but now with a slightly wider field of view and a 3-layer DriWix face foam that conforms comfortably to your face while wicking sweaty moisture for an insanely plush fit and feel. ChromaPop technology boosts clarity and natural color to let you effortlessly see more details on the hill, allowing you to pick your lines easily and with confidence, while the spherical Carbonic-X lenses delivers a downright vast field of vision.

An Anti-Fog inner lens fights off the build up of condensation through changing environments and temperatures, and Patented Porex filters equalize atmospheric pressure during changes in elevation, both coming together to give you a distortion-and fog-free view. The ultra-wide, silicone-backed strap is equipped with QuickFit adjustment straps for a customized fit on the go, and at the end of the day, the included microfiber bag safely stores these puppies until next the next time you're heading towards the hill

Great optics, tough fit

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this for my girlfriend. The lenses are really awesome, but if you don't have the right shape face, wind will get under the goggles and into your eyes. It fits her face, but I couldn't wear them.

Totally Satisfied

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased the Prarire Buffalo/ChromaPop Sun/ChromaPop Storm colorway. I'm pretty happy with this goggle. The included low-light lens, the Storm, is super convenient. The change out system for the lenses is kind of funky at first, but is easy once you get used to it. I'm kind of in love with the Buffalo strap and the color of the lenses. I haven't worn these with a helmet yet, so I can't speak to the compatibility there. I haven't experienced any issues with fogging. The included microfiber bag is nice and convenient for cleaning. I do want to get a goggle case to keep these nice and safe.

Totally Satisfied

Not as good as advertised.

While the chromapop lens is visually stunning, there is a manufacturing issue with the gasket between the two lenses. The issue is that while looking down through the lens you can see the gasket and light below. It is very distracting at times. In addition, compared to other lens systems exchanging lenses is cumbersome. I would be hesitant to exchange lenses while on the mountain.

    Smith I/OS Chromapop Goggles

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was nervous to buy these as I have a smaller face and normally have a tough time finding goggles or sunglasses that fit. These were slightly too big but still worked great. It's also nice that you get a bonus lens. The lens stayed clear throughout the day and never fogs -- great quality and worth the money.

    Smith I/O S Chromapop

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought as a gift for my wife and she raves and raves on these. "Best goggles I have ever worn!" (she's been skiing and snowboarding for 25 years; since childhood)
The fit is perfect for small to medium faces and the lens clarity is superb in all conditions, so far, with ZERO fogging issues, under any conditions. And the chromapop is legit!

    Love these

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Was just in Aspen and these were amazing! 100% recommend

    great, but to small

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Be aware. I/OS = SMALL and I/OX = LARGE. I have no idea why smith has two different models instead of the traditional agreed upon method choosing a small or large option based on ones body size, but don't make my same mistake, it will make for a disappointing powder day when you feel like your wearing a diving mask. The goggles themselves are great. The Chromapop lens allows you to see thru shadows and different lights, enabling a more confident decent. Easy to switch out for the low light lens (which is the best i have used) and a convenient bag for storing. I have had no problem with fogging.

    great, but to small

    Best in the Biz

I've been running smith for years. Finally popped for these for my fiancée as an xmas gift (she deserves the best too). She has a very petite face that is often overwhelmed by almost everything else out there. These fit her perfect. The chromapop adds just a little extra definition and clarity, especially in the flat light. She couldn't be more happy! Note: never wipe the inside of the goggle if you can help it. In my experience, this has been the number one reason why fogging will occur.

      Love my new goggles!

Love my new goggles. They are very comfortable and are stylish. Lenses are easy to remove & replace. Have not had any issues with fogging.

        Best brand in the biz.

I've had multiple pairs of smith googles over the years. They've always managed to improve them with every new generation. That being said, I finally bought a pair for my fiancée for xmas....she deserves the best too! I'd say the chromapop is the biggest improvement over previous gens. It adds just that little extra bit of pop and clarity.
