Sight fishing just got easier.
Perfect for spotting tarpon in saltwater flats or spring creek cutthroats in the Rockies, the Smith Dockside Polarized Sunglasses cut down on water-top glare, making it easier to spot fish. Combined with Chromapop technology, the lenses not only reduce glare but eliminate color confusion by limiting overlapping light waves as they pass through the lens, so you have a truer sense of color. The Dockside's large fit provides greater protection from the sun (and missed sets). When you're not fishing, feel free to wear them around town, because despite their high-tech optics, they're pretty stylish too. And for those who want the best of the best, the photochromic lens option (Polarchromic) blends polarization with tint-changing technology.

- Q & A
I got these on sale so I'm not disappointed but they don't seem to be worth the retail cost. They feel comfortable around my ears which is where I am sensitive when wearing sunglasses. However the large lenses seem to warp my vision around the sides which gives me a headache after wearing them for a while. Despite this these are still my go to everyday glasses until I replace the scratched lenses on my Oakley Holbrooks which I prefer. I will keep these because the chromapop on the river is super nice and I can see fish swimming as clear as day.
Disappointed with quality
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
Do not buy these if you will use them to fish with any sort of sunmask (Buff, etc) on...
Bought a pair of these (matte tortoise/gold lenses) a few weeks ago. "SMITH" logo started to peel off the 2nd time I wore them. I am now missing an "I" with several other sticker letters loose. Contacted Smith customer service who told me to "send them back so they could evaluate whether this was warranty issue". Did I mention I had worn them 2 times...? The shipping would be at my expense and I would have been without a pair of glasses for weeks...
For a $200+ pair of performance fishing sunglasses, this is unacceptable. I'll be buying another pair of Costa del Mar's.

Looking towards mountains, taken with galaxy s5 to get an idea what these sunglasses look like. Not very dark, great vivid colors.

The chromapop polarized lenses are amazing! They make everything so clear. There is no vision distortion and visibility in water is great. These fit really well, I'd say they are on the smaller end of a large face fit. Comfortable nose pads and padded temples.
