- Q & A
This kept me warm on a 10K run at 35-40F temps. The front wind shield layer works great for as thin as it is. Sweat tends to accumulate on the inside of the front layer but helps keep in the body warmth, the sweat also moves toward the side layers. Back later stayed warm and only felt a chill when the wind changed directions. I'd say the warmth of this wind shirt is comparable with the overall warmth of the SmartWool NTS Midweight Zip Top. Two great baselayers shirts but this wind Zip top is essential for windy cold weather running. Def buy again. I'm 6-FT 155lbs w/slim build and a size small fits great without being tight.
