Smartwool Merino 250 3/4 Bottom - Men's

Don't get your socks in a bunch.

When your ski socks already go up above your calf, you don't need any excess material getting in the way. The SmartWool Men's Merino 250 3/4 Bottom keeps you warm while you shred, and the 3/4-length means it won't bunch up in your boots. Merino wool not only feels soft against your skin, but it's also highly breathable and naturally regulates temperature to keep you warm and dry whether you're taking laps at the resort or touring in the backcountry.

  • A warm baselayer designed for cold ski days
  • 250 Merino count is extra warm and soft on the skin
  • Moisture-wicking material keeps you comfortably dry under layers
  • 3/4-length is compatible with over-the-calf ski socks
  • Flatlock seam construction helps prevent chafing
  • Slim fit and mid-rise fit comfortably under pants

So comfy!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Material is soft and wicking. I wore them on a cold day (10 degrees) under an insulated shell and got all sweaty with exercise but they remained dry. Pants are the perfect length to tuck into the top of my ski socks. Extra space in the butt for that snowboard squat. :) Love these!

3/4 length = great idea

I got these for my Dad. He's been skiing in them in New England since Christmas and loving them. He especially loves the 3/4 length so they don't interfere with his ski boots.

The size chart suggested XL, and they fit great.

Like the length so that I can add layers when skiing without affecting my boots

Comfortable, warm, quality merino wool product. I have worn them several times in temps ranging from -10 to 35 as a base under my Marmot Mantra non insulated shell. I remained comfortable and warm from low activity to high. Would definitely purchase again and probably will.

I am a big fan of these 3/4 cut long underwear. I bought these specifically for cold weather mountain biking and cold weather cragging and bouldering. They are nice and don't get in the way of high socks, or stick down when I cuff my pants climbing. They are not too heavy even though they are smartwool heaviest style, and are very comfortable. The one thing I wish smartwool would do it add a little elastic to their baselayers so that they don't ride up easily. Once you stretch out the cuff it tends to stay that way until you wash them again. Other than that they are top notch
