Great socks

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I wore these on my trek to Everest Base camp. Love the fit, colors, and that they kept my feet blister free and warm

Pretty darn cool

I got these socks because I need a good hiking sock. these are super warm and thick, so naturally I love them since my feet tend to get cold. Even though these are not heavy duty and super thick they do the job. and thats all I really want :)

Awesome Classic

Bought for my wife after she left a pair at her parents house—she wears them both hiking in trail shoes and to work under winter boots. Not much has changed with these socks over the years and that's a good thing. They're super warm even when the conditions are cold and wet. If you've never had a pair of these, it's time you get some.

Great material, awesome company

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My girlfriend loves these socks. They are perfect for hiking and wick away moisture from her feet. Perfect for longer hikes.

keep your piggies cozy

      The best hiking socks

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got these socks for my mom. She was looking for some medium weight hiking socks to use for longer treks - especially in the fall, winter, and spring (she prefers lighter weight socks for summer hikes). They've kept her feet super comfortable and dry in all kinds of conditions. SmartWool does it all!

      AWESOME

These socks are a huge favorite of mine, I used to buy the men's version until I saw we started selling the women's version. I loved these so much I just sent some to my mom for her birthday and she loves the more feminine colors. These socks are great for all outdoor activity you throw at them, along with to be worn as a daily sock in the winter.

No better Midweight Hiker on the market

Need a midweight hiking sock? You've found it. I've owned pairs for years (still have some going on 10 years) and will continue to purchase this sock for years to come.

I am a new fan of Smartwool socks..this is my 2nd pair and I LOVE THEM! They keep my feet warm, dry, and comfy all day long. Along with being a great quality sock, the cushioning is one of my favorite features. Smartwool has their technology down...the wool is not itchy or uncomfortable whatsoever. Definitely worth the money. I wear these with my Danners and they have been awesome in this cold, snowy weather we've been having in PDX so far.

Bought these for my daughter for her hiking trips and long walks on campus to keep her feet toasty

        Comfy, warm socks.

Great for hiking in cold weather. Definitely keeps your feet warm. I prefer to wear them around the house like slippers.

These are on the thicker side for medium weight socks, but are still extra comfy to hike in. They are nice and warm while keeping your feet dry. They fit great and are super soft!

My mom has always had a really hard time finding socks that work for her backpacking. Got her these and some Injinji liner toe socks and for once she was comfortable on our trip. Highly recommend, but they are a bit on the thick side, so be aware if your boots are already a snug fit.
