Low quality compared to other Simms products

I initially loved this jacket. I mostly wore it back and forth to work and never had the chance to actually wear it for the things I bought it for: skiing and winter fishing. I washed the jacket exactly according to instructions after about a month of use and the following things happened: 1. The stitching in the back pulled out so now there's one large compartment with bunched up insulation - it's no longer warm in the back. 2. The label started peeling off the front. 3. The insulation bunches up with drying and is very difficult to separate once dry. It looks awful and makes the jacket have cold spots. I have many other Simms products including a wading jacket and waders that have lasted me for 15 years of heavy use and love them. The West Fork jacket is not the same quality as other Simms products and is not worth the money. I hope Simms fixes these glitches as the style of the jacket and pockets are cool and convenient.

LOVE this jacket!

I bought one of these in a size S and liked it so much that I bought another one that is a size M because I am pregnant and didn't want to go without it for the next year. I'm 5'4, and normally 130 and the small fits great except that the sleeves felt a smidge short when I put my arms out in front of me. The medium gives me plenty of room for moving around and for my extra growth. I live in Alaska and this is perfect for the fast changing weather and cold rain and wind. We went fishing for King Salmon and it performed better than anything else I own. The 2 front chest pockets are brilliant because you don't have to unzip your jacket to access your pocket. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone especially if your always cold and live somewhere where the weather changes from sun to rain instantly.

Great jacket

I wear this all the time. It’s gives me the arm comfort for casting ( I have monkey arms and broad shoulders ) and have worn it on a couple of ski trips and has surpassed my top line ski jackets. A must for the person who does everything outdoors!

I LOVE it!! It’s so light weight yet really warm. I’ve worn it walking the dogs in ugly weather. The true test will be fishing in Alaska in Sept.Best jacket ever!

Awesome jacket in the mountains of the North East

Love this jacket. Great for the cold days on the hill. A bit tight in the cuff area, but otherwise very comfortable and super warm. Im 5'2" 130 lbs and the small fit great. My only wish is that it had a bit more room in the neck area when fully zipped.

Ordered a large and the only thing I don’t like about it is the length wish it was a little longer. I ordered off of the size chart. They told me this is the warmest jacket for ice fishing, I sat outside for a few hours in the wind on the ice and it was pretty good.
