ProDry Gore-Tex Bib Pant

That's what we thought. When nasty weather is pretty much a guarantee, so are wide open waters and crowd-free rivers. In times like these, you can rely on the Simms Men's ProDry Gore-Tex Bib Pant to keep you dry as you get your boat into your favorite piece of water. These nearly bombproof bibs are made with a top-of-the-line Gore-Tex Pro shell, have fully taped seams, and have an ultra durable face fabric with 70-denier nylon reinforcements placed in high wear areas. Since staying dry from the inside is just as important as it is from the outside, the ProDry Bibs are equipped with full-length two-way ventilation zips, so you can cool down quick once things heat up. Large pockets at the thighs are big enough to hold a couple of large fly boxes, while tool sleeves secure your expensive pliers when they're not in use. Lower leg hem lifters allow the length of the hems to be quickly adjusted, so they don't wear out too soon.

  • Gore-Tex Pro shell (three-layer)
  • Fully taped seams
  • Nylon face fabric
  • Regular fit
  • Full-length, two-way leg vents
  • Adjustable bibs
  • Belt loops at waist
  • Lower leg hem lifters

After a year and a half started leaking in the seat real bad. Nothing worse on a cold day offshore is wet ass. Thought they would hold up longer. Followed all directions on cleaning. I bought these as a tool I fish a lot. They just don’t perform as londg as I expected.

I use these for offshore fishing. They are perfect. After years of using grundens which keep you dry,but you sweat so muchI am usually wet from inside. These are nice and breathable. All the pockets are functional. They are holding up nice from the abuse of offshore fishing. Wish I had these 10 years ago. The size is perfect for layering I'm 6'3" 200 lb size XL

Must Have for Salt Water Fly Fishing

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

I've used these for salt-water fly fishing from a boat in Montauk and Harker's Island in October and November. With blowing winds and 2 to 3 foot swells, having a bib with waterproof rubber boots and a Gore-Tex jacket on top are essential to staying dry on the boat. Even on blue bird days, you can expect salt spray while running the boat.

These are required for any salt water fly fishing trip on the East Coast in the Fall. You won't regret it.
