Not just for fishing

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

I bought these to layer on here in Michigan for winter river outings and have actually found that I use these as all purpose thermals for anything out in the cold; snow throwing, sporting clays, etc. Not only are they comfortable and form fitting but they over accentuate my pot belly and make me look hilarious so that my friends love them too! The stirrups are awesome and keep them from riding up when you get in and out of your waders or jeans. I love these things.

Just in time for the weather change!

My Simms fleece guide bibs arrived just as the weather changed. The bibs are made of quality materials and have a great fit. I like the large openings for my arms I do not feel any restriction when casting. The fit was generous and true to size. I like the chest pockets they are big enough to hold my wallet and phone. Looking forward to using these for years to come.

Critical for Winter Fishing

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Like everyone else, I used to wear sweatpants or other baselayers. Under a pair of waders, clothes shift around and eventually there is a cold spot on your back. These one piece bibs are perfect as a solution for cold Winter fishing where hiking or long days on a drift boat or in a stream steel heading are going to be interrupted by cold spells.

I love the zipper one piece design and the dual pockets on each side of the front. I wear a vest on top with a single pocket so now I have even more storage for my wallet, phone, tissues, small flashlight, and license.

Great Layer

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I just purchased these bibs and used them on a wading trip on the Texas coast in 40 deg weather. First layer was Simms waderwick tops and btms. Then the Simms fleece bids as mid layer and Simms Guide Mid top and btms. Didn't get cold at all and breathes very well. Used to use cotton jogging pants and as I would sweat I'd get cold. Not with these bibs used as layers. A friend recommend them to me and I'm glad I bought them. Any products Simms makes you know it's good quality stuff!

Always loved one pice long underwear and have a few pair of the ll bean ones but these blow them away. Super warm and good at wicking, i can finally breath comfortably under my waders. Only complaint would be theres no butt flap so you have to take off everything for #2. Im 6'1" 170lbs and the large fit great but i could see guys with more weight and a couple less inches fitting well in this too.

I bought a large and it was too small for my 5’11 205lb frame. Ordered an XL - getting it today.
