Really uncomfortable super $$$ shoes

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: 44.5

the shoe looks and feels great from the outside- not so much from the inside. Not sure why these are so uncomfortable since SIDI is often reliable and I have worn them on and off for 30 years. tried to get these to work for 6 months and finally have given up. Soles are stiff- that is great. Dials on top of foot initially seemed good, but got hard to turn and loosen after a month. Now it takes lots of effort to get them loose and it is falling apart since I have to pull so hard on the string. Actual fit is not cushioned or soft at all. tried different insoles & socks, still bad on top and bottom of feet. Riding more than 3 hours is not possible. Pretty much need to buy new shoes at this point.

Two rides and thread started to unstitch

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 44.5

the shoe looks and feels great. It fits perfect--true to size. the color grey with red looks good. but I would had expected better quality on the stitching, after just two rides the thread on the inner of shoe started to unstitch making the great looking Sidi look poorly made. It could had been that I got a bad pair of shoes but will see. I filed a warranty replacement, hopefully I get a great pair of Sidi shoes to actually give a better review on the quality and longevity. only time will tell.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 43

My 3rd pair of Sidi shoes. The others have lasted for 15 and 13 years (replaced parts a few times). They are still going strong but just wanted newer ones. They fit pretty much like my other Sidi's, fairly narrow but the toe box in these are a tad roomier (which isn't a bad thing). Quality seems pretty good but only time will tell if they hold up like my other ones.

Great pair of MTB shoes

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 45

Was expecting a great product and this pair of MTB shoes did not disappoint.

Great shoe horrible boa

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 46

I have owned these for 2 years and currently on my second set of boas the string falls apart fast and a new set is $90 after the second set I decided how many more do I buy till I pay for a set of new shoes again.but on the good side they have been the best fit and feeling show I have owned. Just wish they can fix the boa issue with something more durable.

Size chart is just wrong

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Size Bought: 46.5

I measured my feet using the Sidi size chart...and it suggested that I should be a 46.5 or a 47. Both are way too large and I am returning. I will try the 46. I usually wear a 45 in Specialized shoes. Super disappointing Backcountry...your gear heads were not helpful...and I have to pay for the return shipping! (twice because you shipped the 2 different sizes (from the same order) in 2 separate boxes!) Also, there is no way to do an exchange?! So I have to 'buy' a third pair. I'm out $1,800 and waiting on refunds now..

What a CRAP COMPANY!! Very disappointed

Awesome shoe

  • Fit: True to size

I have worn Sidi Road and MTB Shoes since 1994 and will not wear anything else. Yes the price point is painful but the life expectancy and longevity of the shoes has to be an industry best. For comparison I have recently have owned Ergo 2 Road, Dragon 2-3-4-5 and all in a size 43.5. The Dragons fit well with maybe a slightly narrow toe box that after a slight break in loosens up. The Tigers toe box surprisingly felt more roomy versus my other models. The Techno buckle seems to get finicky when dirty, Other than that the shoes are fabulous and I am 100% glad I bought them.

Tight Toe Box

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: 44.5

I love Sidi shoes just wish they had more of a selection in the Mega's. Had to return the tiger's because they are really tight in the toes box

Completely agree on the toe box tightness. My big toe is getting smashed. I'm going to a different brand. Too bad because i've always worn Sidi but the past 5 years they have changed.

Makes a huge difference

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 43

I just upgraded from the Dominator 7s (also a great shoe). In my first ride with these shoes, I broke top 10 on Strava on a few segments. The carbon sole makes me feel like 100% of my energy is being transferred to the bike. The double boa provides a lot more comfort/support in places the Dominator did not. It gave my upstroke a lot more power as well.

Excellent shoe

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 45.5

Best MTB shoes I've ever used.
Extremely stiff sole but very comfortable.
Love the heel snugness but with plenty of room in the toes. The duel techno 3 dials on the tongue are perfect for getting the right fit.

Like Bedroom Slippers - For Your Bike

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've been wearing Sidi MTB and Road shoes since the early 90's and these are the most comfortable yet. I've strayed to Specialized, Shimano, Time, and others, however, I prefer Sidi fit and adjustability. I like the large vertical toe-box (up and down) that remains unaffected even when shoes are adjusted tightly; my toes like room even when shoes are tight. Shoes seem to be infinitely adjustable and comfortable; no hotspots. Tiger has noticably better ventilation than Drako. I also like that these shoes take up less visual space than most other bike shoes in same size.

Poor service.

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 44

Horrible. Don’t buy. No spare parts so if they break, you are out $600 and on your own. Sidi Rep unresponsive and Competitive Cyclist wont assist.

I call BS. What part did you need that you couldn't find? Bet I can find it with 10 seconds on google.

I'm also calling BS. I've owned several pairs of sidis through the years and have always had great experience with them

3rd on BS. Not only are Sidi’s completely rebuild-able, Comp Cyclist has ALWAYS done what was needed to make things right.

BS from me too. The Competitive Cyclist has been great to work with this is why I go back to them.

SIDI makes the best shoes

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Came back to Sidi after my dog chewed up a pair of my Giro shoes and boy was I glad. These shoes are lightweight and the leather is supple enough that after a few rides they fit like a glove. The double techno 3 push closure system makes it easy to dial in the fit. Overall I have been really impressed with this shoe.

They are super comfortable.

I like sidi tiger srs mtb shoe.

Great shoes

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I’ve been wearing Sidi’s for the last 7 years. Finally made the move to MTB and got a pair at a great price. Fit spot on just like my others. Look forward to many adventures MTB.

Cleat threads missing & size 42: 143 g

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size

I just got a pair of these as I have always liked Sidi's. Worth the price most the time. Was a bit shocked to find the cleat threads were missing on the right shoe in half the holes. And the other holes would not take the bolt easily. Big miss on quality control for Sidi here for their new top end shoe! Also put it on the scale and think it is a bit heavy at 343 g size 42 (they say its 100g lighter then previous top end model.) This is similar weight to their less expensive models. Why don't they even post approximate weights of their shoes?

Hi, an EU 42 say for sneaker like Nike or Adidas would be a US9, right? Thanks!
