Bomber 3 Bike Rack
Whether you regularly need to switch your rack from car to car or you simply prefer a rack that is easy to use, the SeaSucker Bomber 3 Bike Rack is the secure frame mount you need to move a slew of bikes at once. The Bomber 3 will sit on your roof, hatchback, or trunk, making it compatible with virtually any vehicle. Five powerful vacuum cups grip metal, glass, or fiberglass, and are pull-strength rated to 210 pounds each so you can rest assured that it isn't going anywhere. The vacuum cups are easy to install and remove, and won't damage your car's paint unlike alternative attachment systems. The body of the rack is made from 3/4-inch high-density polyethelyne that gives it stability without leaving you struggling under a huge weight every time you want to put it on your car. The rack comes with three rear wheel straps and three heavy-duty fork mounts compatible with 9mm dropouts.A crank arm strap provides additional protection for your car's paint and windows by preventing your pedals from reaching the surface. Stylish & Easy to use!
I've used this a bunch this season. It had about 10-15mins of assembly prior to being ready to mount to the car, not much at all. Holds all 3, 29" Mtn bikes with ease! 1st road trip I drove 80+mph on the Hwy with seriously gusty 40+ winds, and no problems! I would've given 5 stars if I didn't live in the city, and have to worry about it being lifted right off the car at night. At 1st I thought I'd just take it off at night, and throw it in the car and lock it up. But doing that every night is too much. So I went to Home Depot and bought a 5/16" threaded security cable and I was going to lock it down to my car at night. That is really not convenient and didn't last very long. Now I've just come to the realization that if it gets taken, then I'll claim it on my insurance 🤔
Maybe I should've given it 3 stars?
