Going one step further to prevent the down clusters from clumping once wet, the Allied Resist-Down treatment maintains the down's lofting warmth in soaking conditions. For dryness inside the jacket, the Scott DRYOsphere 2-layer membrane seals out deep powder and outside moisture while breathing during high-octane ski sessions. This fabrication is windproof as well, ensuring you stay protected when you're trapped on a lift during wind-hold or surviving icy blasts on exposed summits. Another key feature are the underarm vents, which expel excess warmth when you're working up a sweat on warmer days.
