Better than strapless bras.

The Scott Women's Strapless S Ski Pole holds upright and stays solid whether you're carving frontside groomers or trenching through back-mountain pow. Its strapless grip has a women-specific grip for a female-friendly feel, and the aluminum alloy shaft is lightweight and tough for superior swing weight when you're slashing, carving, and making the ski-game look good.

Easy to grip!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Strapless poles are not very common, but they are actually a great alternative! Compared to pole straps, these cradle your hand around the grip in a perfect formed rubber cage. The force needed to hold onto the pole is reduced because the pole is supported by the grip resting on top of your hand. I could see this as a great pole for someone that has arthritis or a hand injury. As far as the pole, this is a solid, lightweight aluminum shaft. The basket is more of an on piste basket, but would be ok for the occasional powder day.

Best Poles of All-Time

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I don't know why these say Women's. This grip fits perfectly in my hand, and is the size of previous versions. The pole itself is a little flexy, but that's ok. The baskets are small for powder, you'll need to get powder baskets.
