If only you could age so gracefully.
Like that old bamboo rod you inherited from your old man, the Scientific Anglers Heritage Ultra Presentation Fly Line only gets better with age. Its toned-down shooting head suits old-school fiberglass and bamboo rods, but will make a nice addition to a modern graphite rod if you're looking for a line that will cast smaller trout flies with more delicacy. It has a welded tip loop, too, so you can easily switch out leaders, and Scientific Anglers made it with a braided multifilament core for enhanced durability.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
So far I have really enjoyed this line. It is very visible and does deliver light setups very eloquently. I, however, am pretty hard on my gear and fish some pretty unforgiving places. In 3 trips, I have managed to abuse the line to the point of fraying in many places and have even noticed that the tip begins to sink about halfway through the day- which as you should know is no bueno. Fish see the line that breaks the surface easier... So, even though I think it is a decent line for the cost- it is also a cheap line that lives up to that affordability bracket. I would not suggest this line if you fish a lot- spend the extra dough and get something that fishes as nice as this line, but lasts longer.
Great line for the price

I've used plenty of lines and I really enjoy the presentation on this fly line when casting dry flies. It has such a soft subtle landing presentation that you cant go wrong with. True to rod size I a 5 wieght rod with a WF5 line!
Great line with a classic look. Non-neon mellow color takes it back a little bit. The tip loop is awesome and strong.
