So soft

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Picked these up as I like my Saxx boxers. Super comfy material and great fit. True to size. Keep you nice and toasty on cold days. Not the thickest but thats not what I like.

Saxx Fit In Merino Long Underwear

I'm 5'11," 175lbs, and typically wear a 32/medium. These fit spot on. I love my Saxx underwear & love long johns, the combo is exactly as great as you'd expect.

Pros:
- Merino wool. Wicks moisture, keeps the funk at bay.
- Comfy as can be. No awkward seams, same great fit as Saxx boxers. Fits up and on the hip and isn't droopy like some long underwear can be.
- I'd call this a midweight. If you're in serious cold weather, might want to look into a more hefty pair.

Cons:
- Nothing so far! Will report back more on long term use & durability.

Overall, if you love Saxx boxers and are in need of a pair of long underwear, these are no doubt worth taking a look at. They're cozy and warm!

Great addition to my cold gear

I took a chance on these when I saw Saxx came out with their new merino wool blend. These are great, they fit snuggly throughout the leg and fit well on the waist. My only complaint is they can get a little see-through on the quad area but these are wool and not synthetics. They will keep you warm without getting you overheated. Another quality Saxx product.

Unanswered Question

What's the weight/micron of the Merino? Also any info about the source, ie muelsing practices etc? I know Icebreaker and Smartwool's product is certified against this kind of stuff.
