With the innovative, DH-inspired geometry of the Nomad Carbon CC Monarch Plus Mountain Bike Frame, Santa Cruz continues to redefine what an all-mountain rig can do. It’s got a lower, slacker profile than previous versions, so this generation promises to be the most aggressive trail bike bearing the Nomad name yet. To bring you the lightest frame possible, Santa Cruz makes the Nomad Carbon CC with a higher modulus carbon than the standard Carbon C model, allowing the engineers to use less material without sacrificing strength and stiffness. Moreover, by building the frame’s two carbon triangles as whole pieces, Stanta Cruz is able to reinforce key junctures with less material.

The improved VPP suspension platforms delivers small bump sensitivity, a supportive mid-stroke and an overall progression fit for a DH ride. The Nomad features 17.1in chainstays and 6.5in of travel, and the system’s two counter-rotating links ensure a steady feel on the pedal when you’re climbing. Santa Cruz includes RockShox’s Monach Plus shock, which features Rapid Recovery to effortlessly absorb trail chatter and successive impacts, giving you better traction and improved stability on-trail.
