The last width can expand a full 6mm, from 100mm to 106mm, so even the widest-footed skiers will find a comfortable fit, and the 90mm flex is sturdy enough to ski the whole mountain but doesn't require aggressive technique or a lead foot to spring to action.

Salomon also designed the X Pro 90 specifically for wider modern skis, with a 24mm oversized pivot and Twinframe2 construction that keep the boot laterally stiff so you can control your edges easily and precisely. Twinframe2, which maps stiffer and softer PU throughout the boot, also makes the X Pro 90 easy to slide on and off and gives you sensitivity and control where you need it, so you don't need to crush your toes to ski well.
