Salomon Brigade Audio Helmet

Add one to your crew.

Rolling deep in the park is the only way you know. It's time to add one more member to your crew, though: the Salomon Brigade Audio Helmet. Its injected ABS shell and EPS foam padding keep your melon from getting banged up on icy pipe walls and big ol' booters, and the Airflow Concept vents keep cool air flowing over your domepiece so you don't heat up like a pizza bagel in the microwave. Best of all, though, the Brigade has a built-in audio system, so you can just plug your tunes in and ride without having to fiddle with your earbuds.

Safety? Check. Music? Double Check.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Wears comfortably with a beanie, without, a beanie and without the liner. Only flaw I have is I wish it came with a cable that had included controls that way I wouldn't have to swap it out.

Sounds great, keeps your head warm

This helmet has great speakers. Love listening to the tunes down the slopes. Solomon makes great products.

Do I compare my head measurements to the custom air or the standard fit in the sizing chart?

The brigade goes off of the "Standard Fit" To view the sizing chart, click the "sizing chart" link by the price of the helmet.

Good for beanies

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The quality is OK, could be better. Like all other Solomon helmets, it's kind of bulky, so I would recommend sizing down.

Great helmet

Comfortable and speakers sound better then the K2. Only drawback is the convertible liner also holds the speakers, so if you are planning on wearing a beanie underneath go up a size since you'll want to keep the liner in place
