The Men's Ortles TW CLT Jacket has the look and feel of a down puffy, except Salewa stuffed it with a special wool blend for better resilience in winter's weather. Ideal for mountaineering and backcountry touring, the wool blend insulation is just as packable, light, and lofty as down insulation, except it can actually retain its warmth in snowy climates. The water-resistant shell sheds snowfall and snow spray, and the shoulders have an extra Powertex laminate with reliable waterproof ratings. The Ortles has an articulated design that keeps the jacket under harnesses and backpacks when you're climbing and reaching.
