QXL Outer Chainring

From all-out sprints to bold breakaways, the Rotor QXL Outer Chainring maximizes high-cadence efforts and sustained power delivery during time trial events and fast-paced racing scenarios. The oversized QXL features 16% ovalization, compared to 10% for Rotor's standard Q Rings. This increase in ovalization helps to boost efficiency throughout your pedal stroke by maximizing your legs' natural strengths. Five OCP points allow you to "clock" the rings to reduce the dead spot within your pedal stroke. Most riders experience a difference within the location of their dead spot, meaning you'll have to customize the placement of the QXL along the crank arms to maximize power output according to individual biomechanics and pedaling style.

After using the Q rings 53-39, I decided to move to the QXL 53. I used it in the OCP 1 and it is perfect for sprints. The cadence went up by 10 and helps improve the pedaling efficiency. I have a 12-25 cassette. First week it's all I took to get accustomed.
