Matching your trail or all-mountain frame's versatility with a fork that can keep up is the only way to truly see what your bike can do, and RockShox's 29/27.5+ Pike RCT3 Solo Air 130 Boost Fork blends versatility with the streamlined style the Pike has always been known for. As this is the 130mm version, it leans a little further towards the trail side of things, but with today's trail frames exhibiting XC nimbleness paired with burly, all-mountain capabilities, the lines of distinction are blurred, at best.

Now built with Boost compatibility, the Pike RCT3 can also be set up with the high attack angle of 29in wheels or with a dose of added plushness from 27.5+, and switching your hoops out daily, yearly, or never won't affect its functionality. It's also built with the simplicity and 130mm of bump-devouring cush of RockShox's efficient Solo Air spring. The RCT3 damper spans Open, Pedal, and Lock modes, so it can handle everything from fire roads to steep, punishing climbs to tumultuous, rock-lined descents. RockShox's Rapid Recovery feature is also included here, which keeps the Pike feeling hungry after successive hits and hand-numbing stretches of unrelenting bumps, helping it stay high in its travel so that it can recover quickly to maintain cushion during the unexpected.

RockShox paid carefully attention to the chassis design for its prized Pike line, and the Pike RCT3 received reinforced lower legs and oversized bushings, which stiffen it while managing to keep stanchion size the same. Any excess or unnecessary weight was carefully carved out of the chassis to balance weight with stiffness, and RockShox thoughtfully includes a PSI menu printed on the side of the Pike to keep pre-ride adjustments from taking away too much of your time on the trails.
