    RockShox Pike Air Shaft

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This product made my pike the described travel

    Easy Peasy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Doesn't get much easier to adjust the travel on your fork than Rockshox design using these air shafts. I've changed out a few of them and they are always a simple, 15 minute job. If the fork is new usually you can scrap the grease off the old shaft for the new one. Otherwise if the fork has been used, probably best to get a tube of Slick Honey to go along with it to put on the seal. Job is even quicker if you pull the top cap and push the air shaft out using a dowel.

    Huck it!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Sure we all could use a little more travel. This is a easy upgrade to your rockshox fork. Turned my 150mm pike to 160mm in about 30 minutes.

    Huck it!

    Less is not more

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bumping up my Pike from 150mm to 160mm is a simple upgrade. 10 extra mm of usable travel(after sag) is noticeable when going through chunky steeps. Very fine needle nose plyers needed for installation.

    Great for Adjusting Fork Travel

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Whether you want to increase or decrease the travel of your RockShox fork, these Air Shafts are what you need. When servicing your fork, replacing the air shafts is an inexpensive way to make sure all the internals of your fork are in top notch condition.

    No Brainer Upgrade

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This upgrade was a no brainer. For the price why wouldn't you want 10 more millimeters of travel? More Travel, bigger air, better landings. Just gotta send it.

    Size does matter

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Easily increase the travel of your Pike fork with a new air shaft. Needed to raise the travel of my stock Pike on my Santa Cruz Bronson to slack it out and increase the BB height and this was the cheapest way to do it. Quite easy to install, takes about 20 minutes once the for is removed (doesn't need to be but makes things easier). Things you will need are slick honey for the air shaft, snap ring pliers, and some shock oil and you should replace the wiper seals as well. Bump it up

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Looking to add a little more fun to your existing Pike? Look no further. Just install this air shaft in the travel amount you want and away you go. Installation is easy and the finished result is a fork that feels factory fresh.

    Bump the travel!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I picked one of these up for my Hightower that came with a 140mm fork. I like having a bit slacker ride, so I installed a 150mm airshaft. This thing is about a million times cheaper than buying a new fork. Easy install if you service your own fork.

    More travel

I bought this to add more travel to my Pike fork for a Yeti SB6. Worked out great!

      Cheaper than a new fork!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wanted to change my pike to 140 from 130. This was a cheap way of getting that done. Some basic tools, some fork fluid, and some basic mechanical know-how, and this was pretty easy to change out
