    Savor the top-shelf tech.

With the 27.5+ Blacklabel Boost Wheelset, Reynolds flaunts its top-shelf technology to bring you a lightweight and sturdy carbon wheelset that doesn’t compromise ride quality. They feature an asymmetrical rim design to offload weight on the non-drive side and provide extra support on the drive side, adding strength and rigidity where you need it most. Yet unlike many high-end carbon wheelsets on the market, the 27.5+ doesn’t sacrifice a supple feel for stiffness, so whether you’re ripping singletrack or racing enduro you can rely on a more responsive ride. For added durability and impact-resistance, the 27.5+ features an entirely hookless rim shape. This not only makes for a smoother ride but also helps prevent flats when you’re running lower tire pressures.

For the Blacklabel line, Reynolds partnered with the hub gurus over at Industry Nine to create the new Reynolds centerlock hub. The new hub features three-degree engagement to provide industry-leading quickness. Reynolds’ center lock hub also features Boost spacing, which provides better spoke angles for added durability and stiffness. Reynolds laces hub to rim with the oh-so-stylish, straight-pull, Sapim aluminum spokes.

    • Carbon hoops that don’t sacrifice comfort
    • Asymmetrical rim design for improved drive-side strength
    • Completely hookless rim design reduces burping
    • Industry Nine hub provides 3-degree engagement
    • Boost spacing for added durability and a stiffer wheel system

    Perfect Plus Upgrade

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These wheels make an awesome upgrade to pretty much any plus bike on the market. If you're looking at these wheels, you might be also looking at Enves. The reason I went with these over something like the Enve M60 Plus wheels is that these come with Industry Nine Torch hubs, which in my opinion are hands down better than the standard DT Swiss 240 affair. The 3 degree engagement is really noticeable especially coming out of corners where you need that near-instantaneous hook up. For the soon to be loose conditions in Utah, I'm running these wheels with a Maxxis Minion DHF 2.8 front and Maxxis Rekon 2.8 rear that really create a nice profile on that generous interior width. Also, with Reynold's new lifetime warranty policy and exceptional customer service, I'm hooked on these wheels.

    Everything a wheel should be.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Strong, light, true, super quick freewheel engagement, no leaks. A very noticeable ride improvement over my aluminum i9 wheels, which are pretty good wheels to improve upon.
