Renthal equipment has been a staple in the motocross aftermarket for years, and they've finally made the leap to mountain bikes. This is their SR4 Single Chainring, made for the singlespeeder or 1x rider who maybe grew up racing motorcycles -- the Renthal moto aesthetic is unmistakable. Perhaps this explains why we feel like it would help us go faster. The Renthal SR4 Chainring is CNC machined from 7075-T6 plate aluminum, then hard anodized to make it supremely durable. It fits any four-arm crankset having a 104mm bolt circle and is available with four tooth counts -- 32t, 34t, 36t, and 38t. It is perfectly compatible with 8-, 9-, and 10-speed chains.

Running a 32 on my HT 29er
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Running a 32 on my HT 29er with a 1x10 and this ring does exactly what it should, it keeps my drivetrain running smooth. Out of the box it appears to be on par with typical Renthal quality (at least that of a few years back) and it has that drilled-out moto aesthetic that's subtle and pretty damn cool.
Half a season of Utah, Montana, and Idaho singletrack without a single issue. Nothing but praise from this guy.
