Light and comfortable.
The numbers don’t lie, and they’re pretty impressive. The DH-ready Renthal Fatbar Carbon riser handlebar is 780mm wide and weighs just 225 grams. The bar employs intuitive dimensions: a seven-degree backsweep and five-degree upsweep. The unidirectional carbon fiber used in its construction allows the engineers to add just the right amount of flex to the Fatbar to reduce vibration and add control without sacrificing stiffness or strength.

Saved my hands..
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Riding at Northstar Bike Park used to kill my hands.. not sure if it is the extra rise or the carbon but these made a huge difference in hand pain. From excruciating to almost none.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought these for my fat bike, great choice so far! The bars make the ride a little less harsh and the heat loss is very noticeable.
More control, More comfort, less weight
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Beautiful build quality, well designed with numbered hash marks for perfect, centered alignment on your stem (every pair of bars should have this!) and a dramatic increase in stiffness/dampening vs the previous aluminum bars I was using. Quicker handling and more comfort at the bike park or on the single track.
Oh and BTW, no need to upgrade to 35mm, 31.8mm is perfect. All of the various changes in MTB standards over the past 5 years the move from 31.8 to 35mm clamp diameter is one which can be labeled as essentially without any merit.
How can you figure out the amount of "rise" you need?
Perfect blend of sweep and tilt for control of an AM bike.
Hey there, 780mm (with trim markers to 680mm).
