The shell is also extremely abrasion-resistant and seals out snow and ice with water-resistant zippers and fully taped seams, plus a removable powder skirt, helmet-compatible hood, and adjustable hems and cuffs with inner snow gaskets. This whole system works to keep us dry and comfortable on deep power mountain days.
