When we are amongst these trees navigating skin tracks and slashing powder we are usually wearing the Quiksilver Black Alder 2L GORE-TEX Snow Jacket. This jacket allows us to stay as stoic as an old growth by utilizing a GORE-TEX laminate to block out driving snow and wind often found on ridges. On the way to the ridges, we un-zip the underarm vents to prevent overheating while we glide up the skin track.
