Breaking your aerodynamic position won't help you break any records. That's why Profile Design created the Aerodrink. With it, you're able to store your hydration between your aero extensions. So, you'll be able to rehydrate without deviating from your sweet spot. Even better, the bottle's aerodynamic shape means that you're able to achieve the aforementioned without paying a heavy aerodynamic penalty.

The Profile Design Aerodrink features a 32oz (946ml) capacity, and it weighs in around 171 grams. Please note that this bottle does not include the required mounting bracket. To mount the bottle to standard aerobars, Profile recommends its Universal Aerodrink Bracket. However, for narrower aerobars and base bar affixing, you'll need Profile's Aerodrink Base Bar Bracket.

    Great but Flawed

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I really like and enjoy this bottle setup. My issue is the craftsmanship. The first one lasted for quite awhile. I would usually fill it half way and freeze the bottle, as rides in South Central Texas are usually quite warm. Well one day on the ride when i went for a drink the bottle was empty, it had split down the seam. So I didn't think too much about it and bought another one. On first use, I froze it again and this time when filling the rest up with liquid before the ride, I noticed that it had split down the seam again. I then realized that it was splitting because when freezing the water would expand as it froze causing the bottle to split. I bought a third one, and now when i freeze the bottle, it's empty, i just pack it full of ice the morning of the ride. So far no splitting along the seams.

    Average design

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

So I bought this to go with my T3 aero bars and I'm just not sold this is the setup for me. I love the Profile Design aero bars, but when I got the bottle and Universal Aerodrink Bracket neither had great instructions on how to attach it to the bike. Just a few better quality pictures would have been enough. I used the bottle just like the product picture above and had a big issue with liquid splashing out. I will try the splash sponge next, which is included in the package, to see if that helps. The biggest reason why this is probably not for me is I wasn't able to get used to having a long straw right in front of my face the entire time riding. I always had the feeling I was going to poke my eye. Now with the above being said I have seen tons of people use and like this product and I really didn't have the time before my first half to try different configurations and practice using the straw so it could just be inexperience.
