    Intuitive illumination.

Winning an Editors' Choice Award from Backpacker Magazine for its attractive price point and intuitive user interface, the Princeton Tec Sync Headlamp provides brilliant illumination with five different settings tailored to outdoor activities and alpine adventures. 150 lumens of maximum power illuminates wide swaths of trail when you're hiking under a starlit sky in the wilderness. The red LED comes in handy for reducing eye strain during nighttime activities.

The Power Dial interface allows you to easily toggle between its red LED, dual beam, spot light, and flood light settings. This dial interface also comes in handy for securely turning off the light, ensuring it won't accidentally switch on inside a pack. Another convenient feature is the ability to move the single-arm ratcheting head up or down towards your viewing perspective.

    • 150 lumen LED headlamp for backpacking and alpine use
    • Power Dial interface toggles between 5 light settings
    • Runs up to 150 hours on its lowest flood light
    • Projects light up to 58 meters in dual beam mode
    • Red LED reduces eye strain while enhancing night vision
    • IPX-4 standard withstands splashes and light moisture

    Solid headlamp

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got this to keep in my day bag and for camping trips. Works as advertised, nothing too crazy. I like the red light feature for keeping my night vision.

    Handy Headlamp

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought a couple of these for my step-father to keep handy on the boat and camper trailer. Not the brightest out there but cost effective, simple and effective. I specifically bought this one for the dial beam selector instead of the button-press which my step-father doesnt like. Very easy to use, you always know how to get the beam you want, no getting lost in the presses trying to select the brightness/ beam. I am curious to see how the single arm bracket holds up over time.

Stick with the button and hi beam

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like the button press rather than end knob on/off selection. Not bright enough when you need to kick it up a notch to pick routes in timber at night. It's a good backup or tent light.

Can never have too many headlamps!

I love having this headlamp stashed in my car or in a backpack. It works super well and is very reliable. Never be without a headlamp!

      Decent light for backpacking

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Yes, I got the 90 lumen light shipped to me at first too but BackCountry corrected that error quickly. The best feature of this light is the switch which keeps me from cycling through multiple LEDs and dimming levels. It's not the brightest light on the market and the reflectors are small but it provides reasonable illumination. It's light and small and does the job. I used the red light more than anticipated to avoid blinding others around camp.

      Only 90 lumens

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Just got this today and I noticed it clearly states on the package that it is 90 lumens, the only reason I bought it is because it says in the "tech specs" that its 150 lumens, im very disappointed an will be returning this for a better one.
