This sweater provides exactly what I was looking for: an extra layer to wear inside when needed during the colder months over leggings or pants and a shirt or sweater (although I've also worn it over pajamas). I wanted something that would cover my thighs because they seem to be chilly more often lately. I like things with collars that aren't too tight or restrictive and this fits the bill - you can button it when you want something around your neck and it isn't bulky like a hood would be when it's down. The extra long sleeves are wonderful - I often find that sleeves are too short for me, but this sweater has plenty of sleeve length. It is definitely not form-fitting. If I wanted it to be more fitted or intended to wear it more in public I would have gone one or even two sizes down from my normal. However, I wanted to be able to wear it over all kinds of layers and be able to easily throw it on or take it off as needed. When I have it zipped up all the way over my bulkiest top layers I do look a little like one of those air-filled holiday yard decorations, but I am very warm and I just avoid mirrors or enjoy the similarity to old photos of my ancestors in cold climates. Generally I have it unzipped and it is professional-looking enough that I don't worry about wearing it for online meetings. The pockets are fantastic to have, although not deep (my phone falls out if I am moving around too much). It has started pilling a little under the arms where they rub on my desk and computer or against my sides, but they are easily removed and it's what I would expect from a sweater with this kind of texture. I got the Heather Grey and I'd say it's similar to the photo - maybe a little lighter in real life.
