Disappointed

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 30S

This was my fourth and last Prana product. Earlier Sutras were really nice and comfortable. Prana has watered down the fabric. Its harder and coarser, does not have the soft feel anymore. They feel hot, even in indoor ac room I am sweating in them. Not for summer for sure.

Love them

Awesome fit, great look. Replace your old sweats with these and you'll get compliments on your style. No stretch in the waistband or fly.

Tight waist band

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I really dig these pants in general. They've been so comfortable and great to travel and move about in. However, over the last year or so, with the last three pairs of pants and one pair of shorts I've purchased, compared to a pair I bought maybe 3 years ago or more, the cut or fabric seems to have changed. I've not gained weight, and I wear an XS. The pants over the years have been exceedingly difficult to get on and off, due to a non-stretchy waist band. My 120 pound husband agrees with me. I'm disappointed! The pants fit ok after one dons them, but getting them on or off in a hurry isn't happening!

Extra comfort

Bought for doing yoga. Very comfortable and stylish pants. Breathable. Love them.

Functional and aesthetic

I use these for yoga and although I had not originally planned to, I admit to also climbing in them a few times. They allow great freedom of movement without being baggy. I have also taken to wearing them instead of sweats or pajama pants and feel much more human as a result.

The hemp is not particularly abrasion resistant, but that is to be expected.

Nice material but bad fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: S32

i had to return it. Tight in the hips. And don't like the tie around the waist. I have two pair of Zion pants and shorts and they fit perfectly. This just didn't work for me.

Not my favorite Prana Pants

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

These pants are thin, not super comfy, and tough to put on and off. Once on they look great, but they weren't quite as comfy and liberating as my other Prana pants.

Comfy Trousers

  • Size Bought: M

I picked myself up a pair of these for Christmas. I didn't really know what to expect but I thought I'd give them a try.

They are a pair of lightweight pants that are great for lounging around or going to the beach. The fabric is very comfortable. They are great if you work from home and want to wear something other than you pjs to give yourself a little bit more of a dignified feel.

I'm a 33 waist and ordered the M. The pants barely go over my glutes when I put them on, but they fit comfortably.

A new Favorite

I got 2 pairs of these for my best friend, he LOVES them. I think it might be all he wears. They feel nice and fit great.

Great post-activity chill pants

I purchased two pairs of these pants about 4 years ago and they are showing little signs of wear. A little on the expensive side for what amounts to pajamas but they're well worth it. Comfortable and durable.

comfortable

true to size and really comfortable

Light and Comfortable!!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

  • Size Bought: Medium 32

Love these pants. I have these in the Khaki - Medium 32. They are lightweight and super comfortable. Great for lounging around the house, yoga, fishing, a quick walk in the woods, or going to the store. Although I ordered the 32, I think the waist is really about 34 inches. This is actually a good thing because there's no button and the fly isn't just for show (no zipper). You have to pull these on and tighten with the drawstring. The only complaint that I have is that when the khaki color gets wet, it turns really dark until the cloth dries. Keep this in mind if you happen to sweat a lot like I do.

Boys love these

I bought these pants a couple times as a gift and both guys love them. According to my sources, these are really comfy lounge pants with just enough structure to go to the store and not feel like you're in your pjs. Lightweight hemp fabric doesn't stretch but the wide leg cut provides enough space to squat or kick your feet up on the couch. Highly recommended!

Narrow at the hip

Great comfy pant, the gusset crotch for any pant/short is a must IMHO. I'm caught between 31-32 waist, but I'm a little wider in hips. Both the Sutra shorts and pants are cut like a straight leg thru the hips, pants bellbottom at hemm. So while small says 32, they are tight thru hips and even with gusset they cup the crotch when squatting or streatching. I went with Med, a little roomier in waist, and they draw string like a pair of sweats, but not as bulky.
Bottom line: highly recoomend for that lazy/lounge about light easy pant, pair of flipps, and just realx'n where ever you are... Tropical island, mexico, or about the house or hood on a Sat/Sun/ or Holiday Monday. Cheers

As comfy as it gets.

  • Fit: Runs large

The Sutra pants are just as comfortable as it gets. I could wear these daily, and even do a lot of the time. They are a little long, I'm 6'1, and the Large 32 fit me just fine. I would have probably went for the XL, but because of reading they were just a little big, I went a size down. Definitely worth giving these a try.

Straight forward, comfortable pants

The Sutra is spacious and comfortable. These pants don't have much stretch nor an elastic waistband, but don't necessarily need it.

Feels exactly how it looks, if that makes sense. The fabric feels thin and dry, which is more of an observation than negative descriptors, because these pants are great. The shorts are exactly the same.

The length may need hemming so that you're not dragging or stepping on yourself. Easy to do yourself if you have a sewing machine and inexpensive to have done at a local tailor.

Medium fits well on a 33" waist.

A Little Long

I'm 5'9" and the mediums were way too long for me. SIze down a bit since they're long and a little baggy. really comfy pants to wear around the house.

    soooooper comfy

I got the purplish ones (SAC) so admittedly that makes them a bit less versatile. Like, I really look like someone into yoga if I wear these. And they are indeed awesome for yoga. Super soft, flexible, like wearing nothing . Great summer lounging pants.
I am 32x30, muscly thighs; I bought a M and I just roll up the cuffs a bit.
I would not hike of climb in these; the material is quite thin and I would worry about durability (although admittedly I have never tested this).
I liked them so much, I got the shorts also (in a more normal color) and pretty much live in them in the backyard.

    Most comfortable pants ever

These pants are the real deal. So comfortable it feels like you're not wearing anything at all. The bottoms are a bit baggy, but I think that's a good thing for this style of pant. Pockets are shallow and small. Items may fall out. The main drawback would be durability. I have not had them long, but they are so thin and light it does not seem like they will hold up to wear and tear. I could be wrong, but the fabric and stitching seems very fragile. Still worth a try, but I would not recommend for heavy duty use. I bought a size M as I usually wear a 32x32 pant size. The fit is good.
