Wanted to love them

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Really wanted to love these pants but unfortunately they just do not look flattering. I usually wear a size 0 in Prana pants and I usually like the loose boyfriend cut on jeans but these were just too big and the thickness of the material ended up making them look more like bulky snow pants on me. Definitely not something I could wear in an active setting as they would just keep falling down. They might look better if you could order a size down though or if all you wanted to do in them was hang around the house.

These are one of my favorite pants I've purchased recently. Super glad I ordered one size smaller than I normally do because they are a much looser fit than most pants. I love that these are suitable to wear to work on a cold day and have been awesome to hike in through the winter. Only downside is that they are a magnet for dog hair so I have to lint roll them often.

Warm without compromising style

I’d been searching for women’s flannel lined jeans for a while and then found these. They are warm and look great! People are jealous of my extra warmth.

Looked like a diaper under snow pants.

    • Size Bought: 12

This was a Christmas request that is going back. After reading all the previous reviews about them running big and being like wearing sweat pants I was excited to get these for our sub zero winter but they looked like I was wearing a diaper under snow pants. My usual Prana pants size is 12 and I could not comfortably button these in a 12. They were soft inside but looked ridiculous.

I want to wear these every day

I used to own several pairs of lined pants, purchased many years ago (10ish?). They no longer fit after having kids and getting fit again, so I’ve been searching high and low for replacements. I was surprised to find these as the only option. I’m glad i read previous reviews and ordered down, as these are truly huge. But they are so soft and comfy. I’m very tempted to order another pair in black. I’m a regular size 27/4 in other pants brands (Patagonia) and I have athletic thighs. I got these in a 2 and they are still quite roomy and loose. I could probably have gone down to a 0 for a tighter fit (and I might if I go for the black), but I like the loose boyfriend style that the 2 has.

Can't wait for Fall so I can wear these!

These are gonna be cozy in the fall/ winter! I ordered the charcoal dots color, because I wasn't down with the '90s flannel shirt' lining the other colors had & I'll be honest; I primarily wear black & grey because I'm lazy & I don't like a lot of 'frou frou'. They are cut nicely, and heavy without looking bulky.
The inseam, like the Jada jean, is 31" on the regular. NOT 32" as listed on prAna's size chart.
I'll come back to update this review after I get some real wear out of them.

    Comfy!

I bought these jeans to wear when we go to Maine in the winter. They fit great and are very comfortable. They fit like all of my boyfriend jeans that I have purchased. Great fit.

    the best!

I bought these for my wife. The fabric on these pants is so soft and stretchy; they are more comfortable than pajamas, but look good. The outer fabric is sturdy and they are fantastic for hiking and climbing in colder weather. However, they are super long on her, and it was extremely painful for her to hem them because of how the lining is sewn on to the pant leg. But she still loves them.

    Very Happy

These jeans are nice and perfect for the 30 & 40 degree weather. I am 5'9 154 lbs, wear a size 12. I bought 2 pairs, sizes 10 & 12. The size 10 are more like a generous 12. The 12's a bit big will allow me to wear long underwear. They can shrink somewhat. I washed both pairs in warm(not cold-on purpose) water & dried on low. The 10's are a tad snug & shorter-but still ok.And I hate tight pants. Hope this helps.

This is pretty much exactly the review I was looking for. Thank you!

Using other reviews I sized down to 2 (5'8 130 lbs) to get more of a tighter classic fit (loose boyfriend jeans isn't a look for me). These jeans have enough stretch in them to be super comfy. Been out in the -9 Minnesota winter with much warmth. I maybe wish they were a little longer but usually where them cuffed up with my boots anyway. Overall a fantastic purchase.

These jeans are truly the best of two worlds. Relaxed comfortable boyfriend cut jeans lined w/warm, soft flannel for PJ like comfort. I agree with one previous reviewer....these are so comfortable I'm tempted to sleep on them! I got two pair in size 0: one in denim blue and one in black. At first I thought I'd have to return the black pair because they were a bit snug in the waist however, after wearing a few times the waist stretched out enough to make these now a perfect fit. The denim blue pair fit great from the start but again, after a few times wearing they stretched in the waist so now I have to wear a belt. Size 00 would have been too small so I kept both size 0 pairs. For reference I'm 5'2 120 lbs and normally wear size 0/25 in skinny jeans and size 24 in boyfriend jeans. I got these to keep warm here in the PNW and couldn't be happier. These are warm, stylish and comfortable. I hope Prana will offer these in more colors options in the future. Thanks BC for my new favorite pants. LOVE!!!

I saw a friend of mine with these pants, with the cuffs rolled up and the adorable flannel print exposed and I was sold! I wore these pants during all my winter shifts of guiding in Utah last year and they performed hard--slightly unexpected as I had never worn Prana before. The flannel on the inside is like staying in bed all day...delicious. I now wear them here at the office on the daily and they are a great casual/comfy look.

Only constructive I have for these pants is I bought a 4, I am a 4 in the Halle Pants, but these ones were very loose on me. Not a big deal with layers, but I did end up ripping a small hole in the flannel crotch area because the inseam was long on a 5'2 gal like myself. If you are tiny, opt for a size down--I could have def been ok in a 2. (adhere to what it says above--"fits slightly large" )

I purchased these for my mom for her birthday and her immediate response was, "I am not taking these off all winter!" I was torn between purchasing her a size 4 or a 6, and went with a 4 and she says that they fit perfect. This makes me think they may run a little big. She loves flannel lined denim, but all of hers were a little out-of-date, so I decided to get her these. She loves that she can have flannel lined jeans that doesn't make her legs look big.

    flannel is a wonderful invention.

These lined pants are amazing, I got these at the tail end of the summer but it was a little chilly and wore these out on the town, got quite warm inside a hot bar. But in the fall and winter these are amazing! very very warm, and the lining is all through the pants as well, so not just in the bottom part or anything. Definetely get these.
I got a size 2 but normally wear a size 4 in most pants.

    Finally warm!

These pants are exactly what you would want in a fleece lined pair of jeans.... warm, soft and a bit stretchy! I would recommend buying a couple of pairs and returning ones that don't fit. I usually wear a 4 but after trying 2's and a 0 I ended up sticking with the 0. They run ridiculously large!!

    Cute and comfortable

My wife got these after she saw my flannel-lined Prana pants, and she's been very happy with them. The flannel-lining makes them great for going outside in the winter, and she really likes that they are both cute and comfortable.

these are great pants - soft plaid lining, warm and cozy for cold winter weather. the material looks like denim but isn't - it's a little shinier and has more of a brushed texture. The only down side to that is that I have dogs, and this material collects dog hair like crazy. they are plenty long so can be rolled up (or not, if you are taller - i'm 5' 6 1/2"). they also run large - really large . . . I normally wear a 10 or 12, and ended up getting a 10 but they are still loose and don't shrink much after washing and running them through the dryer. this is great if you want to layer underneath, otherwise plan to wear a belt since they will slip a bit. all in all, though, I would recommend these since the quality is great and they are really comfortable.

      Super Cozy & Warm

Love love love these pants! I was looking for a pair of lined pants that were warm and durable enough to work outside in and these are certainly both. While I wouldn't tromp through pricker bushes in them like I do with my carhartt pants they are much more comfortable to wear all day. I love the relaxed fit, I think it adds to the coziness. I am 5'7'' and 135 and I bought a size 4. I wear them with a belt to keep them from sliding down when I'm moving and grooving and maybe could have exchanged for a size 2 but they are so comfy I just wanted to wear them immediately! Plus that leaves me the option to add an extra layer underneath them on really cold days. Definitely thinking about getting another pair..

I ordered size 2 but had to exchange for size 0. Definitely boy-cut, straight, not the most flattering but real casual and very warm for these cold winter days.

        Loved Them- But Odd Sizing

I have never worn PrAna pants before, so I used their size chart and measured accordingly. I ordered the size the chart indicated and received them and they were about two sizes too large (could fit an entire fist in the waistband). I am consistently a size 27/4 in different brands/pant styles, but these were nowhere close to fitting. I know these are a looser fit, but had to return for a size 2.

The pants are incredibly comfortable, like a pair of sweats but more flattering and durable, I can't wait to use them throughout the season.
