Weird in the back

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Super comfortable and the waist fit, but these pants seem to have a very short seam running through the crotch. I have a very small butt and these pants made me look like I had a permanent wedgie (that I did not feel given how comfortable the pants are). Not sure if it's intentional and some reviews say that it 'makes [their] butt look great,' but I cannot imagine wearing these anywhere. Was really looking forward to keeping these and am bummed that I have to pay shipping to return this given the super weird fit.

Perfect pant

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I really love this pant , I get a second one because there are so perfect for hike. I used to hike in zion and Arizona. For reference, I'm 5 feet, 129 pounds and I got in size 6 short

Quality control is lacking

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

As stated in some of the other reviews, the quality control is definitely lacking. I was so excited about these pants until I put them on and there was a big, awkward poofy spot on the left hip (not the weird pocket-sticking-out issue, though I do agree that's a problem - this is much worse.) Returned.

Great pants

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Really like these! Definitely go 1/2 to 1 size up, which I did. They fit perfectly. Great material, comfortable, and slight stretch. Great for hiking and light climbing.

I just don't know about the QC at Prana

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I love these pants and have bought multiple pairs but the quality control at Prana seems to be lacking. I purchased a pair of Flax and when I put them on, I noticed that the button and fly did not line up with my belly button. Not even close. For a few minutes I wondered if my belly button has been off center my entire life. Then I realized that I've never seen anything like this. The first pair went back and I received the replacement pair which also was somewhat not aligned with my belly button. This pair wasn't as bad though. That all being said, I like these pants for hiking from about the mid 40s to 60 degrees. I don't hike with them in any higher temps because they are too warm. The finish is great and doesn't snag. I just wish for the price of these pants that I knew the QC was there and I wouldn't receive defective items.

I live in these

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've had these pants for well over 3 years now. I have put them to the test. So much so, all the buttons have fallen off and had to be re-sown haha. I will say, the front pockets are small, all I can usually fit is a pocket knife and rocks. The back pockets are small too. Phone fits sorta decent, but I usually put it elsewhere, especially if I'm wearing a pack. The material is fantastic--DWR/scotchguard has allowed me to wear these in the rain and be fine. Spills bead off them. It is stretchy and moves with you and allows movement, which is great for hiking and travel. They are extremely abrasion resistant, in my experience. The sizing is pretty off though. I'm a 2 usually nowadays, but for these I have to buy a 00. I think the fabric inherently stretches and thus they can end up being a bit loose. Thankfully they have a drawstring and that helps a ton. I do wish the rise was a bit higher and that the fit wasn't so second-skin. I have 5 pairs of these now. They are my go-to pants for everything: snowshoeing, hiking, backpacking, camping, travel....I've even used their sister short for climbing.

bad pockets

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The front pockets stick out in a bad way and are way too short - nothing will stay in them. Why can't we make bigger pockets that actually hold things. So sad - LOVE the mustard yellow color. Wanted to love them.

Wanted to love but too small

Not a fan of the fit or color(slate green). I ordered a tall size in my normal size but was too tight.
