    Give your bike the Bird.

Options are near limitless in the world of water bottle cages. Not only in shape, but materials, too. You have options ranging from alloy to steel, titanium, or even carbon fiber. However, few, if any, offer the aesthetic quality of the Portland Design Works Bird Cage.

This water bottle cage is constructed from a lightweight 5052 alloy in the shape of a bird. Impressively, the wings of the bird are actually designed to securely hold your bottle. For installation, Portland Design Works includes two stainless steel bolts.

The Portland Design Works Bird Cage is available in one size and in Black, Silver, and Chrome finishes.

    Love my Bird Cage!

      Love my Bird Cage!

      Use 'em for everything

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They're bottle cages and the difference between "light weight" and "heavy" is like 20 grams. Why not use one that looks funny and add some life to your bike.

      Perfect for commuter bike!

This bottle cage is funny and perfect for a commuter bike! I wouldn't put it on my road bike because it is a bit bulky but it looks awesome on a fun bike!

        Birdman

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was looking for a cage for my commuter, and this looked like a great choice. The bottle retention is first rate, and the eye catching design makes all my hipster friends jealous. Get one!

        Cute, but sharp edges

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like these cages. They do a good job of holding different sizes of bottle. Even though they don't "grip" like a typical cage, the coverage of these cages seems to keep bottles from jumping. Be careful, though -- I cut myself pretty good on one of the sharp edges when reaching down for a drink

        Eye catching water bottle cage

This water bottle cage is not for the weight weenie. It's definitely eye catching, so much that it may deter the eye from your valuable components or unique paint job.

          Bird Cage? in the wild.

I LOVE a good pun - and this is amazing.

            I'm sold. I need this.

            Cool.

A bird bottle cage? Sure, why not.

Bought these bastards for looks and they've been very solid. If you're a weight weenie (a person(s) that cares about bicycle weight to the point of obsession, weighing every component that goes on your bike, and thus sometimes forgetting a bike is meant to be ridden) then you probably want to look at something else. But these are hilarious and do the job well.

            Put a bird on it.

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

When I built up my Ridley Excalibur I was doing such a lightweight build that I opted for the PDW bird cages because I didn't give two shits about the weight and I LOVE the design. I've since put these on two different bikes and have them in both black and silver. They are classy looking and hold the bottle securely. Plus, they are eye catching.

            HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

            Good one Christy!
