POCAVIP Jersey - Men's

Be seen and get aero.

While it won't always guarantee safety, Poc's penchant for high-visibility, color-blocked fashion—one display with the AVIP Short Sleeve Jersey—does help ensure you'll be seen from a distance. That may not be helpful for launching sneak attacks during a race, but it is nice being noticed on traffic-heavy roadways. Smoothed cuffs lie against your arms and reduce irritation, and the enhanced 4-way stretch fabric moves with you into an aggressive aero tuck or when upright and chatting on the coffee ride.

Awesome!

I did my research and ordered a size larger than I’d normally order, and it fits great! Vibrant orange for good visibility on the road.

    Too small

Sharp looking jersey; however, the sleeves are way too tight! I ordered up to a Large and the sleeves were uncomfortably tight and the bottom of the front jersey was also very short.

I'm actually 5-11 and weigh 150 lbs. Purchased both a large and a medium; knowing that I was going to return the one that didn't fit. Surprisingly, I returned the Large! The medium is closest to what I wanted. It's actually just a little large through the mid-section. I have some Ale' kits and they're more snug than the POC. This jersey's material seems a little heavier. I'm in Texas where training/racing in 100 + degree temperatures are common. It's only April and this jersey seems fine up to about 80 degrees ambient so far. We'll see how it breathes at 90 and 100 degrees. I'm really happy with the bright orange/white. It's exactly as pictured. Everyone notices me, that's for sure.

Returned because it was too short

The jersey seems to be high quality, but the front of the jersey is very short. I don't believe sizing up would have been much better, as the sleeves and back were the right length, albeit tight.

    POC JERSEY FIT

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Absolutely agree with the poor fit comments. DO not buy without trying on. Fits unlike the majority of premium cycling jerseys in the marketplace. Tight and restrictive in the upper body/shoulder area. Seems to be good quality but shouldn't proper fit be one of the most important product attributes? A very disappointing purchase ...

    POOR FIT!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: Medium

I wear medium in Assos, Rapha(Pro Team line). They fit very well around my torso. Body hugging, but not restrictive when in tuck-in position. So I ordered this POC top of line jersey in M. The jersey looks very high tech. It has a lot of nice details and features such as welded seams, laser cut edges and patterned reflective center pocket. The color panels are interestingly laid out. From stylistic point of view, this jersey has it all.

Now, the most important part of the jersey: fit. It’s a big thumb down. For a medium jersey, the arm pits are tight. They bind when my arms reach forward and in the tuck-in riding position. Chest area is a bit restrictive too in the tuck-in position. The worse part is the waist. While the top half of the jersey is tight and binding, the bottom half is loose. It’s baggy around the waist. I can't even say it's a race fit because a true race fit like Rapha Pro Team line is buddy hugging, second skin like, but not binding, restrictive, or baggy around the waist. So this AVIP jersey is neither race fit, nor club fit. What fit exactly this is???

This has too be the oddest fitting medium size race jersey I’ve ever pulled on. For how much it is, this is very disappointing. POC is a great helmet company. I love their Octal line of helms. I actually own two of them. Their clothing is just plain disappointing. I also reviewed their arm warmers a while back. Same issue: poor fit. If they want to be in this saturated cycling apparel business and keep up with the big boys like Assos and Rapha, they need to overhaul the fitting of their soft goods.

A solid jersey to have in the line-up

I really like the clean look of this jersey- and the AVIP concept works- this is very visible. The fit is euro- order up a size- and if you have a little belly it will show. I find the fit to be a bit odd- it doesn't seem to contour around my shoulders like nearly every other jersey I own, and the breath-ability leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, I'd say it's a decent jersey- I really like the look, and you can tell its a quality product.
