High and dry.

Layering the Pearl Izumi Transfer Cycling Cap under your helmet provides quick-drying, wicking action to keep you dry in both the heat of summer and the chill of spring, which can be key to staying warm in conditions that aren't quite cold enough for full winter gear. Its wicking comes courtesy of P.R.O. Transfer fabric with Minerale and is supplemented with an In-R-Cool lining that cools your skin so you don't overheat. Pearl Izumi adds reflective logos to help increase visibility to other road users in low-light conditions.

bent plastic brim

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

might be a nice hat if it weren't shipped in a plastic bag allowing the brim to be bent and permanently creased so that it feels and looks bad on my head.

Looks good, bad fit under helmet

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

I usually wear caps under my helmet (Giro Synthe MIPS), but this one was really uncomfortable. The band sits too high above the ears and interferes too much with the helmet’s adjustment band.

I usually wear a L or XL in a helmet. I find the Castelli caps fit me better.

Cappellini! A small hat.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: one size fits most.

People love this hat! Lightweight, comfortable and attractive. I enjoy wearing the hat as a fashion piece. Hand washing and easy to care for.
