Pearl Izumi says goodbye to the days of baggy, wind-catching thermal wear and covers your chilly ride wardrobe needs with its Women's Select Pursuit Long-Sleeve Jersey. Fashioned from light and breathable Select Transfer Dry fabric, this jersey is made for days when it's not quite warm enough for short sleeves, but you don't feel like wrestling with bunching, shifting arm warmers during an interval session.
Pearl constructed the Select Pursuit with a contoured, race-ready silhouette for a fit that won't leave bunchy, baggy extra material flapping in the wind and tucks easily under your favorite wind vest. The full-length front zipper and elasticized gripper on the rear hem are simple touches that allow you to control ventilation and keep the jersey in place so you're free to focus on the ride.

Runs a little small

I love the light, cool fabric and sun protection of long sleeves. I wish it had more neck protection, but there is no collar. It has a flattering cut but runs a bit small.
nice but cut small
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
I liked the style and cut of this shirt but it was a bit tight in the arms, armpits, and across the waist for my comfort. For reference I'm 5'9", ~140 lbs and ordered the medium.
No collar; close fit; nice material
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I like to bike in the mornings in New England, and even in the spring, that sometimes means the temperature is in the 50s, which is my threshold for long sleeves but not thermal wear. This jersey is perfect for that because the material is lightweight and wicks away sweat well while keeping my arms from getting goosebumps. The #1 issue with the jersey is that it doesn't have a collar, so if I were to wear this for a longer ride during the day, I'd have to figure out a way to protect the back of my neck from getting sunburned. Sun protection is one of the reasons I like long sleeve jerseys (or wear sleeves with a short sleeve jersey), so that's a bummer. Additionally, it's more form-fitting than I would like, but that's part and parcel of bike clothes sometimes. It's the same size I usually wear, just not a cut that I love. The XL had a little more bunching in the sleeves than what I like, even though I have pretty meaty arms.
