A time-tested favorite.

Having an all-around jersey that can straddle evening group rides and punishing hill intervals is a valuable thing. According to Pearl Izumi, the brand's affordable SELECT Jersey has earned the title of its best-selling women's jersey, and we're guessing it's due to the way this jersey can keep you comfortable no matter what the day has in store.

Discipline-specific apparel has its place, but sometimes it's great to be able to grab one piece and know that it will dutifully wick moisture away from your skin and keep you dry. The jersey's SELECT Transfer Dry polyester construction does just that, and it also looks flattering even on the days you aren't excited to put on a fitted cycling kit. The Select uses structured lines to create a clean shape, and features a form-fitting cut and shorter, more forgiving sleeves than a race jersey.

Two rear pockets provide room for valuable mid-ride snacks or other essentials while a full-length zipper allows you to take advantage of cooling breezes on hot days. On the evenings when you can't resist staying out a little longer, reflective accents on the back of the jersey make sure you'll stay visible to other road users while you take in the sunset.

So fresh and cool!

I LOVE this jersey. I've been doing a good bit of summer cycling in the often stifling Salt Lake heat, and the cool, breathable, stretchy fabric is wonderfully light and comfortable. The material is a bit reminiscent of a very lightweight, buttery-soft rashguard/swimsuit. The small slit at the sleeve cuff is a lifesaver if you have climber biceps like me! Save this jersey for your toastiest rides.
