Added comfort for any shorts.

When you layer Pearl Izumi's Liner Shorts under your baggies, you're going to experience a welcomed wicking of moisture and a decrease in temperature. You'll have Izumi's technical fabric and design to thank for your comfort while you explore new singletrack.

Pearl Izumi's P.R.O. Transfer fabric with Minerale, an odor absorbing treatment, provides optimal moisture transfer and fast dry times in order to keep your legs content. For long-distance comfort, Pearl Izumi spec's its anatomically shaped, three-layer MTB 3D chamois. This insert's density varies from a maximum of 13mm to a minimum of seven in order to relieve pressure and to encourage blood flow where it matters most. The pad also wicks moisture, and its four-way stretch allows it to adjust with your body as you pedal in and out of the saddle.

To securely hold the Liner shorts in place, Pearl Izumi uses a wide, non-pinching waistband.

The Pearl Izumi Liner Shorts are available in the color Black and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.

Lovin' the liner

Nice breathable liner. I hardly notice it's there but my butt sure appreciates it! Much more comfortable than wearing "real" shorts under your baggies.

    Chamois Love

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Chamois can make or break a bike ride. For that reason I am constantly in search of a chamois to achieve pinnacle bum comfort while riding. Out of the four I've tried, this stands on top. Stay tuned for more reviews.

    Great Liner Short

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large

These are comfortable, fit well and seem to be a high quality short. I am about a 33 or 34 waist and the large fits perfectly.

The chamois in this liner is very poor. I have used a little of different shorts, bibs and liners and this one is at the bottom of the list. I'm not sure if it is a poor design, quality or too thin, but it not good. I also purchased a gore liner at the same time and that one has been great. I would stay away from this one!

I'm not super serious cyclist, but I ride enough to need these for saddle sore prevention. They do their job fairly well. I have no specific complaints.

    Very comfortable

Nicely done , excellent fit and accurate size

Gifted these for a friend's birthday after he told me that he refused to wear chamois, I think these changed his mind, here's what he had to say:

For a chamois, these are pretty comfortable without feeling like you’re wearing a diaper. Love the hooks on each side of the waistband, because I can never get my chamois off fast enough after a long ride!

I've had several pairs of these & they are pretty good - not awesome but ok. I do a ton of long mtb rides (50+ miles) & they seem to be good for about the 3-4 hour mark. I switch to higher end shorts or swap them out every few hours in races.

Overall these are a good option to wear under baggies - they just get a bit mungy after a few hours

    I'm a solid 34 waist & wear the large

Pillow top comfort for your rear end

These liners offer padding in all the right areas without bunching or getting in the way. After a grueling 3,970 ft climb, and almost two hours in the saddle, I can attest that these liners offer plenty of cushion.

Another plus is that you can wear these with any riding shorts that do not already have a chamois built in. This means you have plenty of options when it comes to finding new shorts for the trail.

I normally wear a size 34 in shorts and the medium fit very well. I recommend these to anyone looking to add some comfort, without feeling like you are wearing a diaper.

    What's one step beyond comfortable?

Amazingly comfortable. They don't bunch or ride up. They stay put and do exactly what they are suppose to. The padding is what's to be expected out of a liner but it's definitely enough for long rides.

I wear these while racing enduro and haven't found anything that's as comfortable. Others I have tried feel like a diaper, they ride up or fall down, or the padding isn't what/where it should be.

Look no further, these are exactly what you need if you've found yourself on this page.

    Solid comfort

I purchased a second pair of these after loving the first ones. They are very comfortable when riding and do not chafe or rub. They have saved my butt from several hard hits and I would never ride without them. I'm 5' 10", 165lbs and a 32/33 waist. The medium fit perfect.

Awesome. Love 'em. Get them. Fit great and are nice and breathable.

    Great Liners

I bought this short and the liners in the same order. While they are both great products, I like this one a bit better as they seem lighter/cooler.

    I'm 5-10" 170 34 waist & the large fits perfectly.

    Nice liner

Good liner and work well with my downhill shorts, but they are still not a one or one replacement for a good chamois.

      Pearl Izumi Men's Liner Shorts

If your a mountain biker you gotta have a pair of these. They allow you to wear your baggy shorts if needed and still give you decent padding. Pretty pleased with these.

These are my favorite for under baggy mtb very comfortable and the coolest i've found.
