Woolyester Fleece Jacket

When there's no name for something, you make one up. That's what Patagonia did with their Woolyester Fleece Jacket, and there are definitely no complaints so far. Made from a blend of recycled wool and polyester fleece, this simple yet stylish jacket packs plenty of cozy warmth. Ribbed cuffs at the waist and sleeves help to keep the cold out and provide a snug and comfortable fit. Its curved collar stands up or folds over, giving you options and versatility when cold winds blow. Hand pockets let you stash your valuables and keep your hands warm at the same time, making this jacket your go-to outerwear for fall and early winter. Let's call it fallnter.

  • Get the best of both warmths with this wool and polyester fleece
  • Blend of polyester and recycled wool is eco-friendly and cozy
  • Curved collar folds down or stands up for multi-faceted versatility
  • Rib-knit cuffs let you keep warmth in on chilly walks in the woods
  • Front pockets keep your hands warm and your valuables close by

Pilled after two wears; sheds; not warm.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I purchased this in August but haven't been able to wear it until now due to unseasonably warm California Fall weather. I've only worn it twice as a jacket on my commute and the underside of the arms is already pilling! I haven't even washed it yet. Woolyester is not as warm as the name suggests. If you wear a t-shirt underneath, you'll feel the cold wind go through the open weave of the fabric, so I'd stick to wearing long sleeves underneath. Also, the heather oatmeal color sheds and you'll notice fuzz on black tops and pants. I suspect that the Woolyester fabric will get more threadbare with continued wear as the fuzz transfers onto dark colored clothes and soon this piece will be be too shabby to worn outside of the house. Wish I could return but I'm already outside the 30-day window. Won't be purchasing Patagucci in the future as the quality doesn't live up to the price.

Had to return the jacket - the fabric made me itch.
