Your secret weapon.

There's nothing trout love more than a stretchy, quick-drying shirt—they're so into it that if you leave the pockets open, all you have to do is wait and they'll jump right in. So leave your rod at home and head to the stream in the Patagonia Sun Stretch Men's Shirt, and you'll end up with more fish than you know what to do with. The Sun Stretch is specifically designed for hot-weather situations, with 40 UPF protection and mechanical stretch to keep you cool and sunburn-free. Zippered chest pockets are designed to snag jumping trout so you don't have to, or just hold other, less exciting things like your keys.

  • A technical button-down shirt designed with anglers in mind
  • Quick-drying stretch fabric with UPF 30 sun protection
  • Two vertical zip chest pockets with plastic hardware

Quick dry + SPF 30

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

After getting doused in a surprise thunderstorm out on the rock ledge I was presently surprised how quickly the shirt dried off. Super value.

I love the sun shirts!

I was so impressed with the long sleeve version of this shirt that i bought some of the short sleeve versions as well. It breathes so well and fits great. I LOVE these shirts and own several colors of both short and long sleeve versions.

    Ideal summer shirt!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

I love everything about this shirt! The cut is perfect, it has a nice relaxed fit without looking too boxy. The material is amazing lightweight and with the stretch, you never feel restricted. The two front chest pockets are perfectly placed and easy to open and close. You seriously can't go wrong with this shirt.
