Slim Performance fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I prefer the slimmer performance fit over Patagonia's regular fit. The only thing missing is side pockets. I still enjoy wearing it casually or for chilly morning runs.

Best Sweater

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

First Patagonia sweater i've owned and it's perfect. Love the form fit and the size is true. Definitely keeps you warm on chilly days but best to layer up on colder ones.

Form Fitting and warm

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

Love the warmth without the bulk! Goes great over thermals or just a “T.” Mine sees use year around whether under my Snowshot or torrent shell or as a cool fall or spring day layer. Just a note - this is form fitting and works great where you want a full range of motion but need warmth

not true to size

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

I used the sizing recommendations and ordered XL, which for me is always a good fit in most garments. The sweater arrived and not only was it too tight around the torso, but strangely it was too long. So it didn't fit in either direction.
very disappointed.

Performance Sweater

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

More slimmer fit compared to the Better Sweater. Almost a 1/2 zip compared to a 1/4 zip. Cant go wrong with this one and looks professional as well.

So Warm and Professional

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

Love that it is practical but can also be paired with a button-up shirt for a professional look. This is so warm. I usually wear a medium, but bought a large to make it less fitted and allow for layers.

Runs small

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

If you like your clothes tight, this is for you. Shoulders and arms were too tight. Everything else seemed fine. Feels good and looks good. Go one size up if you want more mobility. Had to return it.

Its even better

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: M

Great addition to the Patagonia Better Sweater line. With a slimmer fit and the 3/4 zip, it is the perfect casual layer for a brisk fall day, or when the office air conditioner is on full blast. I really love how the sides are a thinner product to reduce the classic sweater bulk, without losing much warmth from the original.
