Great material, runs LARGE!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Medium

Tank is super comfy and looked great when I first wore it. It was a bit large in the armhole area, but that seems to be an issue with most Pata tanks it seems lately. Problem is that after an hour or two, the tank itself stretched out and became extra large on me it seemed. Should have gotten a smaller size. If you get this tank, I'm sure it would be perfect... if you size down! For reference, I'm generally a medium in tops (pata, arc'teryx, etc).

Great Tank for Running and Hiking

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs large

I bought this tank for my girlfriend. Spending most of our weekends outside, she was looking for a piece that was high quality and versatile in use. As a runner and an avid hiker, this tank was a great option for her active lifestyle. The top runs a little large, so she suggests getting a size smaller than usual. It's a little tighter around the bottom and loose around the top, which she loves. Another great piece by Patagonia.

Great multifunctional tank

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: xs

Finally a tank to break my obsession with Patagonia's layering tank. The Gatewood tank has been my go-to for running, yoga, and the gym this spring. It is super lightweight, fast drying, and the polygiene (ant-stinky treatment) works exceptionally well with this fabric. (Think the opposite of old capeline 2, yikes). Fit is a bit different than other tanks, looser on the top and bit snugger around the hips (this really helps it stay put during inversions or running!). Bonus: Wear with a fun strappy bra!
