OMG this is warm

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Let's talk cozy! The Patagonia Better Sweater Fleece Jacket isn't just another fleece jacket; it's a cuddle in fabric form. Seriously, the inside feels like a luxurious cloud decided to become wearable. It's perfect for those crisp mornings by the campfire, or those days where you just need to cocoon yourself in warmth. But this bad boy isn't all about feeling like a giant teddy bear. It's got some serious style chops too. The sweater-knit face makes it look polished enough to wear around town, so you can go from conquering a mountain to grabbing coffee with friends without having to do a wardrobe change. Plus, Patagonia's quality is legendary, and this jacket is built to last. I've thrown it in the wash countless times and it still looks (and feels) amazing. Now, let's be honest, it's not gonna win any awards for handling a monsoon. But for light rain or snow, it holds its own. Think of it like a trusty sidekick – it'll keep you comfortable most of the time, but maybe pack an umbrella for the crazy weather days. All in all, the Patagonia Better Sweater Fleece Jacket is a winner in my book. It's comfy, stylish, and built to last – what more could you ask for in a fleece companion?

Not very warm

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

It is not as warm as an average lightweight fleece jacket, but it is still nice. If you are in a breeze at 50°, you might be a bit chilly unless you have a light underlayment. The arms are slightly snug for what I’m used of but it is still OK and probably more fashionable than my older jackets. The material on the exterior will snag on the leather of my console which is slightly cracked. I thought my arm was stuck in syrup until I realized it was just acting like Velcro. The crack in the leather is very slight and you cannot feel any roughness with your fingers, but the jacket still snags to it , overall I am pleased with the purchase

Variable sizing

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is my second one. My first is a 1/4 zip and fits great. This one is the same size but quite a bit tighter in the arms.

heavy fleece

Thick fleece. Very warm, and with a collared shirt can be worn as a casual sweater. Looks more like a dress sweater than a fleece!

Nice sweater jacket but..

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Got this Jacket for the father's day. unfortunately, I had to return it since it's too big. I wear size S on all my other Patagonia jackets, sweaters, and T shirts, but I was recommended size M for the Jacket. I will have to wait another week for my father's day gift.

I've put it through the wringer

I was lucky enough to get this fleece on a deep sale, runs slightly larger, I’m 5’10” and 165lbs and a small fits me perfectly, great fleece, super warm and comfortable!

Classic look

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My grandson has wanted this for a while. He had a quarter zip and commented that he wished it was a full zip, so I made a mental note and got it for him for Christmas. He loves it. It is true to size for him and looks extremely nice. He has large hands and wrists so cuff size works well for him. He's been wearing it this week in 6 degree temperatures and claiming it is keeping him warm over a sweatshirt, but he's a toaster normally. I do think it is warmer than you would think. He could have possibly gotten by with a large, but he has big shoulders and it would have been very fitted there.
