Blanket heavyweight
Wonderful fabric. I really wanted to wear this shirt, but the sleeves were too short, so I had to return it. I'm 6'-0" 180 lbs. and large shirt size fits me 95% of the time, but not this time. As a heavy overshirt/shirt-jacket, you may want to size up.

This shirt is off the hook! The colors are brilliant and hold up to a wash, no change. The material is a" tweed-weave cotton". It gets softer the more its washed. My shirt was an XL and shrinkage was very minimal. Sleves shrank 0.5 inches, 1 inch across shoulders and 1 inch in length. As a bonus after washing the thickness of the material nearly doubled. The weight appears to be >10.5 sq yard based on comparing to other known weighted shirts (Kavu). Contruction is very good with some triple stitching. I have purchased other shirts directly from the manufacture and they are excellent as well. Hopefully, backcountry will carry some of the additional colors Outerknown has available. They have a shirt named "Cloud Weave" and it is my new favorite. My closet will have only Outerknown: Blanket, Cloud Weave and Wool: Pendelton, Filson shirts; if I knew they exsisted.
