Great gators!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the way that these fit around my calves and also loved the ease of putting them on. They provided amazing protection from the snow and stayed securely on. I would highly recommend!

Gaiters with great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do very rigorous field work every summer and rely on my gaiters to keep me dry and protected. The ORxDovetail gaiters do a great job! They keep out water and insects, are durable and sturdy, and in general get the job done. I prefer a slightly narrower velcro strip down the front as larger ones have a tendency to catch vegetation in them. They are also a little more narrow in the base, which makes it a stretch to fit around my heavy work boots, but they still manage. If you want a gaiter that looks good and does the job, these are an excellent choice!

Galloping great gaiters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These OR Dovetail gaiters are working well. They go on easily- nice strong velcro and the straps that have a place to tuck in so they can get snugged tight and stay up. Have been worn over pants and alone with shorts in the Wallowa Mountains of eastern Oregon.- Kept out debris doing trail work, and were great for hiking off trails/cross country.

Great but still nooks for seeds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used these once so far for some bushwhacking, they kept most of the seeds out of my shoes but there are just lots of spots in the gaiters themselves for seeds to nestle. Also the straps didn't stay tucked in and ended up flopping around. But overall still work great.

A functional pair of gaiter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adjustable straps make the gaiter fit nicely with the boots. Worked well in preventing snow and water from going into the pants in a snow hike (wore once).

Overall good
The only thing I don't like is the straps come out of the casing above the ankle when trekking through forests. Doesn't happen on trails though.

Gaiters I can work in!
I am impressed with the features on these gaiters and they were not terribly hot while working in full sun in over 90 degree F heat. I am familiar with OR's sizing which runs large and ordered down for a perfect fit (I wear US9 boots and the small gaiter fit perfectly). I love the wide front velcro that securely closes the gaiter. An added touch is a velcro flap over the bottom edge that keeps equipment or brush from opening the velcro. The instep strap feels robust and I like that all straps have a belt loop. The gaiters move well and were not noticable, except when squatting when I felt the top buckle cut into my calf a bit. The top belt held the gaiters up and I have not had to adjust them once they are tightly pulled. These are now my favorite gaiters and are excellent for outdoor professionals.

Perfect for bushwhacking
I was looking for summer gaiters for backcountry hiking on overgrown trails. These are excellent, not to mention beautiful. I really appreciate how adjustable they are, so I can get a snug fit regardless of what I'm wearing (shorts or trail pants).
