Why We Like The Outdoor Research Vigor Plus Fleece Jacket
We love that Outdoor Research turbo-charged the touring-ready properties of fleece when designing the Vigor Plus Fleece Jacket. Its stretch-woven construction uses recycled materials and is engineered for mobility to make the ascent and descent more enjoyable. The high-loft grid pattern boosts breathability and heat-retention beyond that of classic grid fleece to feel like a dream on high-output ascents and stop-and-go activities.

A solid fleece
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't speak to the durability of this forever as I've just bought it, but the stitching and fabric feels solid and should be great. I love the grid interior with hard face and the fit is just right

My new favorite fleece
This is a very comfortable and versitile fleece. The fit is more standard than trim, enabling me to wear it in a casual setting. As others have said, provides warmth and breathability while fending off light winds. I wear this thing all the time. Minor gripe, I wish it had a zipped chest pocket.

I love OR gear...but this one is weird
Quality materials, but that's about the end of the pros to me. The sleeve cuffs are horrible to use as a mid-layer because they are tight, they bunch up, are just plain uncomfortable --and the sleeves are too short for a men's large. The jacket overall feels small and restrictive (I always wear men's L in OR tops, jackets, etc.), and zipping it all the way up about chokes you. I own countless pieces of OR gear and I love their stuff but this one missed the mark so far for me that even sizing up wouldn't fix what's wrong with his jacket...

Flexible, comfortable with even heat
This is a perfect go-to fleece that works well for daily wear in the shoulder months. It also is a great layering option for winter use. The waffle textured fleece seems to help distribute heat well. This fleece is comfortable and cozy.

Super comfortable fleece jacket
Lightweight, breathable, true to size medium fleece jacket. I'm 5'10" 165lbs and medium is perfect fit.

Tremendous Jacket
Recently went on a hike with temps in low 40s and 40mph wind gusts. This was my outer layer. Wind didn't cut through. Phenomenal jacket.

warm
Does a great job of keeping me warm for such a lightweight fleece. Does run big.

Collar is really tall, and annoying
The collar on the jacket, when zipped up (not never fully) is so tall it becomes annoying and uncomfortable.
