Warm and Toasty!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: M

These mittens are cute, super cozy, fit great on their own or with liners. Definitely not waterproof, but they did keep my hands dry even in super wet snow- they just needed some time to dry out after. They run a little roomy, but that makes them more flexible with regard to liners, so I consider that a feature, not bug.

Cold hands kept warm

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I wore these mittens in Kyrgyzstan while doing field work in the mountains (10,000 ft to 14,000 feet) in October and November; they kept my hands very warm. I have Renaud's Syndrome so my hands tend to get cold and painful very easily. I usually have to use hand warmers inside my mittens or gloves, but not with these. They lack a little in durability but I'm buying another pair without hesitation.

How to Measure:
Measure the hand cirumference around your hand at the widest point excluding the thumb. Just below the base of your fingers. Also measure your hand length from the base of your palm to the end of your middle finger. Use the larger of the two measurements to select your glove size.
