I highly recommend the Spitsbergen
I use this hat in all different conditions and it is amazing. I particularly love the triangle perforations over the ears which allow me to stay more aware of what's around me. Excellent design, top shelf construction and high quality materials.

Overall a good warm winter hat.
Kinda expensive for a winter hat but is incredibly warm and comfortable. I think for the price the fleece, and wind stopper liner could have covered the entire inner part of the hat. I don't know if OR reads any of these but you fix that issue and you'll have a hat that would be at the apex in the industry.

This is a toasty hat. The extra ear band liner inside is a nice touch

Holes are earned
Nice medium weight wool beani. Not a big fan or how they did the lining (ear holes).

Warm but odd size
Hat is super nice and warm but has odd sizing. Tight around the headband but also too "deep" where it wants to come down over my eyes.

Like, would recommend.
Really like the fit. Stays on my head overnight while camping. Large noggin. Have not tried in cold weather yet.

Comfortable, high quality hat
I recently purchased the Spitsbergen Hat to use it as a casual / workwear hat during the colder months. I love the fit, stye/color, material and design of the hat. It is very comfortable and fits me well. I like that has it has "vents / airways" at the ears. So far, no negatives to report.

Warm and great wind blocking hat.
Working the finish coral of the 2020 Sugar Bowl Resort Quad Crusher in 40 mph windy, stormy conditions, the Spitsbergen Hat was warm and a great wind blocker.

My new go-to!
Bought this hat for an early March canoeing trip in West Virginia. This thing kept my noggin snug and warm as overnight temps dropped to the low teens. The wool retains heat well and can stand up to the moisture associated with being on the water. Great hat for winter travel and cold weather camping!

Great Hat.
I bought this hat for an upcoming trip to Canada. That's now on hold. But I love the hat, the material and the fit.
